The Bedouin Tribes
Bedouins in Egypt are nomadic Arabs residing in the Sinai Peninsula. They are desert habitants and followers of Islam. They live in tents and move from one herding area to the next. Let’s keep them in our prayers as we reach out to their community.
15th of May City
This city is part of greater Cairo and is home to 1,000 families that earn their living by sorting garbage and scraps. Coming July we will introduce our program "Save the Molars" to children ages 6-12 and provide reading glasses to those in need.
Nepal
The Chepang ethnic group of Nepal is the indigenous Tibeto-Burman community living in the mountain ranges of central Nepal. Semi-nomadic, they live in caves, thatched houses and rely on planting crops to make a living.
Due to poverty and lack of education, their health is often compromised needing much help. Malnutrition, pneumonia, and diarrhea are the most common diseases in this region.
Nepal is sandwiched between India and China. It is known as the Kingdom of Hindu as well as the birthplace of Buddha. Today, this country is now open to any religion, but Hinduism remains the most prevalent; accounting for 81% of the population.
